This information is for persons who register on the myTeaTreeGully portal.
The following Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the myTeaTreeGully portal.
Please read and ensure you understand and accept these conditions.
1. Property Information
In registering for the myTeaTreeGully portal you agree:
That you are the property owner, agent or nominated persons responsible for receiving notices and responsible for the said account;
The information provided by you during registration for the myTeaTreeGully portal is accurate, complete and not misleading and that we may rely on that information for the purpose of issuing electronic Rates Notices and any other property related business until we receive notification of any change from you;
To update any information that relates to your property or the receiving of Rates Notices
immediately if the information changes;
To use the myTeaTreeGully portal in a lawful, ethical and responsible manner, and to
follow any instructions provided by us for the use of myTeaTreeGully;
At registration, you must provide a valid email address for the electronic delivery of
Rates Notices and other communication from the City of Tea Tree Gully:
You must keep your nominated email address current and active to continue to be
registered for the myTeaTreeGully portal;
You can change your nominated email address or any other relevant details
through the myTeaTreeGully portal;
If after successive failed delivery attempts of notifications to your nominated email address, we will contact you to advise you that the notifications could not be
delivered and seek an alternative email address;
If we do not hear from you we will revert to paper copies of your Rates Notice and other communication and you will no longer be registered for electronic Rates
Notice or other communication.
2. Electronic Rates Notice
Upon your request to receive your electronic Rates Notice via the myTeaTreeGully portal you acknowledge and agree:
You are the property owner, agent or nominated persons and are liable for responding to
and making payment of the Rates Notice;
To receive the Rates Notice electronically and recognise that a paper copy will no longer
You will not be charged a fee by City of Tea Tree Gully for accessing a copy of your
Rates Notice on the myTeaTreeGully portal;
It may take up to one Rates Notice Cycle for your myTeaTreeGully portal to take effect;
By using this facility the Rates Notice will be deemed to have been delivered, presented,
reviewed and viewed by you once it has been sent via your nominated email address;
If you cease to own the property then you will not have access to any property details or
Rates Notices once the change of ownership is updated other than notices and
information that are related to you as the previous owner;
Not all communications from City of Tea Tree Gully will be electronically sent through
your myTeaTreeGully portal, you may still receive communications by post or other
forms of communication;
You may unsubscribe to the facility at any time however you may continue to receive
account and/or notices through the portal for up to 30 days after you have unsubscribed
while we process your request.
Any links to third party websites or software on this site are provided solely as a
convenience to you and such links should not be taken to imply any type of association,
sponsorship, endorsement, monitoring, approval of, or responsibility for, the linked site or
its content. These sites may be located in jurisdictions outside Australia and be subject
to license or other types of agreements, policy and legislation relating to those sites.
Should you decide to access any of the third party sites, you do so entirely at your own
risk and the City of Tea Tree Gully shall not be held liable for any claims, losses,
expenses, injuries or damage arising for that access;
These terms and conditions of use may be modified at any time by the City of Tea Tree

Why do we need your business mobile
We may use your mobile phone number for purposes like:
Helping you log in. If you have forgotten any aspects of your account you can contact us. So you'll need an updated mobile number and email address for council staff to confirm we are talking to the right person.
CTTG staff may need to contact you about your property or rates.
Helping keep your account safe through unrecognised logins and providing secondary account verification.
If you select to receive rates reminders or notifications via SMS.
If your email has changed or your inbox is full, it is an alternate way for us to contact you on any important matters.
Should you need to call council about a Rates enquiry or other service queries that is not available on the portal, it helps us identify that we are speaking to the right person.
Note: Once you confirm your mobile phone number at the account creation stage, you can adjust your contact information if anything changes at any time.
